Its finally here. We have added gears to the already successful MM-3 to create the new MM-3G. Basically a scaled down version of the already famous MM-3ProG. This mill is NOT suitable for commercial applications including brew shops or commercial breweries. For commercial applications look at our Pro series mills.DO NOT run this mill backwards under any circumstances, you MUST turn the drive shaft ONLY clockwise to feed grain down into the gap. The drive shaft spins one top roller that drives the other top roller through a set of alloy steel gears. Grain from the top fixed gap is force fed to the adjustable gap between the main drive roller and the bottom third roller. Super reliable feeding is now a given for your hard core homebrew operation. The most advanced in our line of 3-Roller Home Brewing Monster Mills, The MM-3G is a further upgrade of our already successful MM-3. The MM-3G comes standard with two 1215 alloy steel gears driving two 1.5" diameter 1144 alloy steel rollers, with a third idler roller providing a second crush through an adjustable gap, solid 303 stainless steel knobs, as well as the 1/2" drive shaft with three flats for drill drive. The rollers are 6" long just like all our home brewing mills. With all the great features of our already popular MM-3, but with gears for positive feeding. The MM-3G crushes all your grain twice, with one pass through the mill. It starts with a preliminary crush through the initial fixed gap of 0.070” between the top two rollers, and then ends with a pass through the adjustable second gap (0.028->0.055) between the drive shaft roller, and the bottom third roller. The initial pass slightly flattens the grain, and gets it ready for the next crush, that breaks apart the grains and loosens the starch with minimal husk damage.

The MM-3G consists of 6061 aluminum block frames with three 6" long 1.5" diameter 1144 alloy steel rollers riding on Oilite™ oil impregnated bronze bushings, while the third idler roller rides in bushings that are offset mounted in an adjustable knob. The stainless steel knob is held in a fixed position by thumbscrew that you can loosen to adjust the mill. This system provides an adjustment range of .070". The knobs are turned from solid 303 stainless steel barstock for excellent durability. The skirt flange has a small cookie bite aligned with the eccentric offset that allows you to know how your offset adjustment is aligned. They have additional slots for a positive grip. For the rollers we use a superior grade of steel that is much harder (1144 alloy) than what is found on most comparable products. The drive shaft, and all the axles are integral to the roller rather than screwed into the ends. All the axles have minimal freeplay in the bushings for long lasting reliable life. This mill comes standard with the 1/2" drive shaft. We recommend a name brand corded 1/2" drill to turn this mill. Wimpy house special weak drills will release the smoke from the load. Suitable for the most discriminating serious hard core home brewer that wants the very best, the MM-3G is our flagship homebrewer model, the best of the best.

We highly recommend that you purchase our base and hopper. All current bases come standard with precision drilled alignment holes, dowel pins, and matching holes in all our Pro Frames, as well as the smaller MM-3 mill. To take advantage of this feature, you need to purchase our base and hopper along with your mill for precision frame alignment, and superior roller motion. You'll also need a high quality corded drill to drive this beast. We recommend a 1/2" drive name brand corded drill. Please note that the larger shaft will require the larger 1/2" drive drill, as the more common 3/8" chuck won't accommodate the larger shaft. Our hand crank does NOT fit this mill as supplied, nor is it recommended for any of our Pro series mills.

This mill will NOT mill corn and doesn't work well with rye by itself. It is designed for barley and wheat malt, and un-malted wheat. For corn see the 2Pro, or the 2ProPD.

Something's changed at Florsheim
Size: 11.5 Wide, Color: Black
I have a pair of size 11W Florsheim Palermo loafers that have lasted over 8 years and are still soft and exceptionally comfortable. Ordered a pair of 11W Florsheim Milano on Amazon but they are too small and have a cheap plastic sole. So, ordered 11.5W Florsheim Berkley and they were way too big. Returned them and ordered 11W Berkley instead and they were also too big ... and the Berkley also has a rubber sole instead of the original leather shown in the product photos. Guess they just don't make them like they used to.

Beware of the Brown Crazy Horse version.
NOTE: This review is COLOR SPECIFIC and concerns the Brown Crazy Horse version of this shoe. I am a loyal Florsheim customer having purchased Florsheim Imperials in years past. They are a fine shoe. However, I have to admit complete frustration with the Florsheim Berkley Flex Penny Loafer in "Brown Crazy Horse." The photos in the listing show a shoe with gloss...a shine. The photos on the box show a shoe with shine. Don't believe the photos. "Brown Crazy Horse" is, at best a dull matte finished leather. If you want a classic penny loafer with the classic Florsheim look this is NOT the color to choose. When the shoes arrived and the shoes did not match the photo on the box, I ignorantly assumed it was merely a case of the wrong shoes in the box so I exchanged them for another pair, which was a big mistake. It is Florsheim's incorrect photo and box label that caused me the inconvenience of going through two pair and then having to return both. I would assume other colors are as pictured in their listings because I cannot imagine that every Florsheim Berkley Flex Penny Loafer is a dull matte finish. I'm sorry that I do not have photos of the dull finished shoes. You'll have to take my word for it. They are a matte finish at best.

Just right, great quality and value (in the price)
Size: 11.5 X-Wide, Color: Burgundy
Exactly what I'd expect from a Florsheim. I'm delighted. Folks, let me share one mistake I made on my way to a good fitting pair of shoes. I ordered some in my size (I have a big foot, especially in width). I ordered what I thought I needed and it came in wide enough, but too short (the short was the surprise), but we all are told: "Manufacturers vary in their sizes not only from each other but from shoe model to shoe model." I want you to know I believe in that when it applies to clothes, especially children's and womens fashions in my life's experiences, but NOT with shoes, especially main-brand-deluxe. I ordered the next half-size up and now I have too large, how can that be? I found out when I pulled the paper stuffing out, in particular the LAST glob that extends from the middle to the toe, that it WASN'T the last glob, there was indeed a rather small glob still way down in the toe, almost pointless for this minor bit of stuffing being separate from the other, but it was. I had already innocently troubled Amazon with returns of shoes that would have fit, so I'll keep the half-size too large as a life lesson. I ordered this pair in the size I believed I was all along and viola, a good fit. What changed? When that last toe piece of paper wadding that's hard to see and even harder with a big hand to reach, the shoe fit perfectly. That's a lot of trouble because of a small piece of paper that was hard to see, but that's why I write this review for you so that you can make sure all the paper is really out when you already think it is. Amazon has been good enough not to hold me accountable and in return I'll not only repeat buy, I tell you of my experience.

Great price great shoe
Size: 12, Color: Burgundy Polished Full Grain
Excellent shoe. Tried the Sebago penny loafer and the sizing was ridiculous. These J and M are sized perfectly. I’ve had them before and they wear like iron. Very comfortable right out of the box.
